Dr Aisling Rayne
Aisling is based in the social science team at Cawthron, where she works on interdisciplinary issues relating to the environment, science, and society. She is also a co-lead for Ngā Pī Ka Rere Pou and supporting work in the Impact Pou and Freshwater SIP as an early career researcher.
Aisling first joined BioHeritage in 2018 for her PhD, which focused on enhancing mahika kai outcomes for kēkēwai (freshwater kōura or crayfish) in partnership with Kāi Tahu whānau and primary industry.
